In all the comparisons to "Dances with Wolves", a more obvious comparison was missed. Nice catch.
But the aliens of "Aliens" aren't native. They were brought there with a spaceship of a different alien race.
And Native Americans crossed the Bering Strait. :)
And the aliens followed them home in Aliens.
